If your Peloton bike is new, the calibration should be correct. However, second-hand bikes and bikes that have been moved, the calibration can change. This leads to the necessity for recalibration.
Filamend cannot be held responsible for any damage caused as a result of using these instructions, or our calibration tool. You perform this recalibration at your own risk.
The calibration marker has been measured against a brand new Peloton bike that was unused and considered to be correctly calibrated to the 10% variance tolerances per Peloton. Further, it has been measured to the values deemed accurate using the official Peloton branded wedge.
Continue following instructions. You will be asked to make 30 rotations.
You will be asked to unplug the bike to restart it.
Then finally reinstall the bottle holder and guard.
